Glutathione PleoLyposome - CURE??????? | Autism PDD

Rita look at the TACA site, I think it is under Medical and then go under
Mythelation and it should be there. I think it can be in trasndermal, liquid
(oral) and some do it in an IV form. It is just part of a protocal, should your
child need it. ::rubbing hands together:: Interesting. I am against IV chelation, but I don't know how I would feel about trying a supplement with Payne. Hmmm....

It is basically considered to be a detoxifying agent - here's some of what I found on it:

Glutathione PleoLyposome is quite clearly the best supplement there is for detoxifying the body at the cellular level and for helping the liver to be a more effective detoxifier. Plus it is the body's main antioxidant. This is in a form that actually gets into your cells. In this unique formulation, glutathione has been encapsulated with essential omega 3 and omega 6 phosolipids that easily enter cells, making this the one form of glutathione that is able to readily enter cells and perform the all important cellular detoxification. Glutathione is the body's most important cellular detoxifier, however until now, glutathione supplementation or injections have failed to increase cellular glutathione levels because it is not well absorbed into cells. Glutathione PleoLyposome changes all this and is a major breakthrough in glutathione supplementation.

I believe this is one of the supplements used as a part of the protocols for healing the inflammation and absorption issues addressed by Dr. Margaret Herbert through a biochemical approach - i.e. the "leaky gut" school of thought.

Hope that gives a quick idea.  You might check the threads on alternative ideas and DAN protocols.

AnamCara39352.5380902778I haven't heard of it either, but a quick search on google says its a detoxifier, which makes me think DAN dr and/or chelation. Maybe go look on the alternative treatments board.

Ok I know there is a lot of heated agruments on whether autsim can be cured or whether recovery is possible...

My question is a LOOOOOOOOOTTT simpler than that  - has anyone heard abt Glutathione PleoLyposome?? I came across this site http://www.health-reports.com/autism.html and it talks abt how this product can "cure/recover/help" (use what floats your boat)... anyone heard of this or is this just another hoax????

I know I am going crazy but I just want to so desperately know if there is something out there.... I haven't heard of it. Post this under alternative treatments.  Little Byrd can tell you ALOT about this.  This is part of the DAN protocol.

Greetings from Malaysia again !!! It's been a long time since I last posted....

Anyway about glutathione... YES! It is an IMPORTANT ANTIOXIDANT involved in detoxification. NO! I have no experience with glutathione pleolyposome.

BUT YES! Our 8 yr old autistic boy is on a supplement that helps to build up his glutathione levels. It's called Immunocal. It contains undenatured whey protein isolate. How it works is basically to HELP the body manufacture glutathione. It helps to deliver the amino acids necessary, in particular cysteine.

Our boy has been on it for a year now. From one satchet a day to twice and now three times a day to go with his milk. DOES IT HELP ?? I will say YES... BUT yet it is truly subjective coz that's what most if not all parents will be looking out for with such approaches... improvements... Our boy is high-functioning so it can also be a bit tricky to differentiate whether it's primarily an improvement or just part of his HFA.

Maybe others can chip in with their experiences with glutathione products or glutathione-related products...
