Glyconutrients | Autism PDD

Has anyone tried the glyconutrients with their older child.  I have a 14 year old daughter that has been on it for two weeks.  Have noticed little things.  Anxious to hear stories and experiences from other parents and their kids.

I am new to this site, but have just registered and read the rules.

I am the great-aunt of a 13 year old autistic boy.  I have worked with glyconutrients for 3 years with many other disease states with remarkable results and last year finally convinced my niece that she should give them a try.

He is not on nearly a high enough dose as is recommended, but it is all that can be afforded at this time.  For 8 months we saw incremental results with a step backward just prior to a step forward.  The last 3 months we have doubled his dose and have seen 1 more increment forward.

She was nearly in tears as she shared with me that he now can tell her about his day in school. (Something he earlier could not do) And she indicates that fits are halved to what they use to be as well as the echolalia.  We will keep trying and look forward to even more progress to come.

are glyconutrients the same thing as enzymes?  I just ordered peptizyde and zyme prime.

TIA,

Jessica

we use glyconutrients
they are helpful

in fact they were the first supplement we used

they are now part of a large list of supps
we give our son

however I do think that people should be aware
that they are normally available
through multi-level marketing schemes

Glyconutrients

Glyconutrients can help your autistic child by boosting up his immune system and providing numerous new stem cells. It is the most safe and affordable treatment out there!

Glyconutrients were what brought my son Sammy back to us. The day I learned that autism was the reason behind Sammy’s absence of speech and “strange” behaviors that were so foreign to the rest of the family, I saw my world collapse. Sammy had become a statistic.

I felt so helpless… I had to do something… anything! (as long as it was non-pharmaceutical, but that's a subject matter for another website). I picked myself up and just started reading everything that I possibly could get my hands on about this autism stuff. I read day and night about leaky gut syndrome, gluten and casein free diets, immunizations, hearing and visual sensitiveness, success stories, good news, bad news… you name it!

I came to one conclusion – it’s an immune disorder! Okay, now I knew what to do. I’d simply strengthen his immune system, right? But, HOW?

I was very fortunate that a close friend told me about glyconutrients and how they helped a schoolgirl with down syndrome (her typical down syndrome appearance became normal and she became an honor student) and a little girl with cerebral palsy (she was able to get up and walk).

What are glyconutrients? In a nutshell, they're the eight essential sugars that heal. No, rather, they help the body heal itself. We need all eight of these sugars for our body to function at its optimal level, but only two of them are commonly found in today’s over-processed diets and less nutritional soil.

Sammy was very agile and physically well balanced. But other than that, he possessed all the typical traits of being autistic from ZERO eye contact to total physical aloofness.

To give Sammy initial boost that he needed, I gave him three times the recommended minimum dosage. I never had to worry about giving him too much as these are all-natural, pure food and that would be like saying “isn’t too much spinach dangerous?”

Within a few days of taking glyconutrients, he looked at me straight in the eyes for many seconds. In almost disbelief, I whispered to myself, “Oh my God, he’s coming back!” Some of the improvements during the first two months that the whole family noticed were: · Full eye contact · Letting us hug him · Not running away from strangers coming into our house · Being able to alternate steps on stairways · Less stimming

The timing was so obvious that I cannot attribute the wonderful changes to anything other than the essential sugars. Sammy was not attending any type of school or receiving any other treatments. I had done absolutely nothing else up to this point!

Sammy did have one “side-effect.” Within the first few days, he started excreting very thick, sticky, yellow mucous-like substance for over a month that we had to wipe his nose just about every hour. I learned that this was due to detoxification. It tapered off after a month, but he’d go through it twice more at 3-4 months intervals, but with less severity.

It’s been 18 months since Sammy started taking glyconutrients and he continues to improve. It seems like he has forgotton ALL of his prior stimming behaviors - I saw them gradually disappear. He no longer lines up cars, doesn't watch TV all day (selects only a few programs), points at what he wants and actually plays with his brother.

These days, most strangers are shocked when I tell them that Sammy “is autistic.” And often, he gives me such piercing look that I turn away laughing at its intensity.

Sammy still has challenges – speaks in no more than three words sentences, and is still stubborn. But he has a lot more of good qualities and I really command him for having reached such an incredible milestone. Thanks to glyconutrients, I am happy to say that he’ll be attending regular mainstream kindergarten this fall.
