Not sure what you meanHere's the brown-eyed version:

I just looked over every pic from this post ^^^ I can't believe how beautiful all our kids are!!! With all that beauty we should put together a calender and sell it to profit autism awareness!! Just a thought! It's amazing how from across the world all these kids seem to share traits, like heart shaped face, same chin, even the eyes...i'm speechless!! We are so blessed!!

Yes, Sharlet does have striking eyes, that I just can't quite connect with, even when she looks at me.
She is actually taking part in a large facial characteristic study at the moment because there does seem to be some themes in autistic individuals appearances.  They hope to be able to identify some sub-groups.

When they were babies I thought they had exceptional eyes. They still have striking eyes, but they darkened, and aren't as striking as when they were babies. I always thought Nikolas especially was a beautiful baby, but I thought it was his gene pool, he looks like his NT cousin who was also a beautiful baby. This is an old baby picture, but yep I can see it.

Their eyes like they are now, this is an older picture, I can almost never get them to pose together for me anymore. I love this picture.

My son has big eyes that change color depending on what he is wearing. Since he was a newborn (seriously, less than an hour after he was born) the nurses commented on how INTENSE his eyes were and we got that comment for a long time afterwards. It was always how alert, intense and/or observant he was. He has gorgeous eyes and they still are very intense at times. However, when he is having a "spacey" day they look more blank - like I can't get through at all to him. He has beautiful long eyelashes as well.

That being said, my dd has very similar eyes with long, beautiful eyelashes. Not to brag here, but they both have my eyes - it is my one good feature! However, I'm just hoping their vision is better than mine. I have to have custom-made contacts and can't wear glasses because my eyes are so bad that the peripheral vision interferes and makes me dizzy. The difference between where my glasses cover and where they don't is so great that makes me dizzy.

Anyway, it is good that he looks so darn handsome! (In a mother's bias)

On an online autism screening a couple years ago, I found the question "Is your child exceptionally beautiful?"  I thought it was a weird question, but had to answer yes.  Fast forward to this past January, I asked other parents on this forum what they thought about this subject, and got 55 replies.  Here's the link, in case you're curious

Thanks for posting the link NorwayMom.  Lots of gorgeous kids.  My mother drives school bus, and the drivers of the special ed buses were given a handout listing the characteristics of autistic children.  One of the items on the list was that they are exceptionally attractive.  I have no idea where they got this list from, but at the time it made me laugh.  Like so many others, we are always being told are boys are very good looking and that their eyes are especially gorgeous.

We have ALWAYS and still, say of Tuhina, "Those eyes!"

She has deep-set black eyes, with epicanthal (asian) folds -- but heavy, heavy LASHES!  And when she smiles ... they SNAP! Really sparkle, only way I can describe it.

I know what you mean - ROhan  has the most amazing deep clear eyes and amazing eyelashes I always feel that when I look into Adam's eyes he's seeing into my soul. Its hard for me to maintain eye conatact with him directly for long periods. I know it sounds weird but its almost as if I feel he can look directly into my brain and see what I am thinking.

Here is T with her little sister in China.  I know I have better depictions of her eyes but NEED TO ORGANIZE MY PHOTOS!

Definitely something is up with the eyes

I can't get over how much Bug looks like all of your kids!

There has Got to be a correlation.  He (Bug) is definitely, without question, a beautiful child...

And...  He has big, light, blue eyes.  Gorgeous!
