Single Umbilical Artery | Autism PDD

I have a question for everyone here.  I am trying to make sense of something which may or may not have anything to do with my 7 yr. old daughter's diagnosis of PDD-NOS.  When I was 30 months pregnant, I switched my OB-GYN due to insurance issues.  My new doctor asked for a new ultrasound to be performed.  It was during that ultrasound that the tech spotted my SUA- or Single Umbilical Artery.  Normally, there are two arteries and one vein in "typical" umbilical cord.  I went through another round of ultrasounds to confirm that my baby was developing normally - the tech checked the size of the baby's kidneys - smaller size generally indicates that your child may be born with Down Syndrome.  A lot of SUAs are not spotted until after birth.  Does anyone else here in this forum know if they had a SUA and would mind sharing that info?  I'm wondering if there is a link?

Come to think of it I had to have a second ultrasound about 6 weeks before I delivered my son because the doc thought he was getting to big. my son is has a dx of PDD-NOS w/autistic features. I wasn't told that there may only be one artery in the umbilical cord, that I can remember. It may be worth me looking into it though.
