Peeling crayons | Autism PDD

I have had some concerns for the last year that my youngest might be on
the spectrum too. She is very tactile, she licks stuff, she makes piles of
toys, does some looking from the side of her eyes, gets very hyper - I
don't know but something just seems slightly off. In other ways she does
well, her language seems okay and she does have imaginative play.
Maybe I am just paranoid because of my ds. Or maybe she has a dash of
asd. One thing that she does is she will sit for a long time annd just peel
crayons. Anyone elses kid do that.i will have to admit i still peel crayons myself. I also know that most kids will sit there and peel crayons who are not on the spectrum. For the other things I would get an OT eval like tzoya said.A young child can have sensory integration difficulties without being on the spectrum. In fact, kids with ADD/ADHD oftentimes have sensory issues as the main cause of their problems.  I'd definitely get an OT eval and SI therapy.
