Well I hope the visitation goes well, but it is really unfair that they will not allow the other kids to come, after all they are part of the family too. Is there any way that another lawer that might be able to see thru all this and get maybe joint custody with the other grandparents or at the least a better visitation than just 3 times a year for only 2 hours.
I wish you the best of luck. My thoughts and prayers are with you
Hello my Friends,
Today we FINALLY get to see my almost 6 y/o Granddaughter Rayna, after not seeing her since Dec 2004! You see, my Granddaughter's other grandparents illegally adopted Rayna while my Daughter (Rayna's biological Mommy) was being dx with all her mental illnesses, you see there were times when Sharon (Rayna's mommy...my Daughter) lived too far from here to be able to visit Rayna. Sharon doesn't drive & was staying a couple hundred miles away while being dx. So Rayna's other granparents took that opportunity to say that Sharon had abandoned Rayna, when they SWORE to all of us that they wouldn't DO that. You see, they have lots of money AND they are personal friends with the Judge who presided over the adoption. So anyway, by the time WE all found out about the adoption, it was too late...BUT Sharon had just received a lil bit of back pay from SSI for disability., so she hired an attourney to fight the adoption, well he couldn't ...All he WAS able to get for all of us was a chance to stay in Rayna's life ...but only 3 times a yr 2 hours each visit at the other grandparents' home with their supervision. So we get to see her in July, October & December every yr. Sharon has to write them 6 weeks in advance to let them know when we'll be coming. Well Sharon DID that, then they sent us back part of the legal papers that say that only my Hubby, Sharon & me are allowed to be there, so in other words, they don't want us to bring Tony ( he's 9 y/o, Rayna's uncle & they're VERY CLOSE), Nikki (she's 16 y/o, Rayna's Aunt & Rayna LOVES her to death), & most importantly Riley , Rayna's BROTHER ,he's only 3 months old & she hasn't seen him yet!!! Tony is really close to Rayna, they're only 4 yrs apart & were inseperable before all this happened, he will NOT understand why he has to stay out in the car for 2 hours, while WE visit. They live an hour away from us, so it's not like we can just take him back home. Well, anyway.....weish us LOADS of Luck, we'll NEED it!! PRAYERS too OF COURSE!!
I'll let you know how the visitation went..............................
God Bless you all & your Families & keep you all safe!
