Good News :) | Autism PDD

Its amazing how the small things make such a big deal. Collin has been starting to want 3 of everything, although he could never actually notice if there was 1,3, or 30 but he would always say "i want 3". Well last night at the table he was looking at his finger and counted them 1, 2, 3 . My jaw dropped he just counted to three and actually had 3 fingers up. AHHHh

AWE, that's awesome!!!! Keep working hard Collin.

I noticed with my 2 1/2 year old niece, she would do things like this too as she would pick things up. All of the sudden she would count, or say ABC's or point to a circle. We would just be amazed since none of us had ever asked her to do it.

Now that you know these skills are progressing, use this opportunity to really practice numbers and letters.

Keep us updated. I love to read success stories here. It's a breath of fresh air sometimes!! That's amazing. I am also seeing some improvements with the Risperdal. Hurray for the milestones!! Yeah for Collin, This post put a smile on my face. Great job Collin and way to go ormomoftwo!
