Glyconutrients-any one have any experienc Will do! Jack will probably start taking the powder next Monday or Tuesday. Have ordered it and it is on its way. I am going to keep a weekly log to see if anything in his daily routine/functions change. Will also post some of the articles and stories from other parents/doctors who have used with kids/paitents with a variety of illness etc. Probably in a few days: School is winding down here in my neck of the woods. Have to get kids ready to send back home to you all for the summer Again please note that I am not looking into a "cure or quick fix" just exploring options for my son. I do hope and pray that this is a good experience and that I can share some positive results with you all for you and your own children
Has anyone tried Glyconutrients for their children? Have researched on the internet, spoken to Doctor, but am looking for some one with personal experience Well I have decided to be the one and get some personal experience . Will keep you posted to let you know if I see any change in Jack's behavior, mood, etc. I am not looking by no means for a miracle, but I have to believe that there is something going on inside Jack's body that is chemical that antioxidants could help him benifit. Hello: I have been off the board for a while (school is out and I have tried to stay off the computer as much as possible :-) ) Any ways....... I have been having my son take a powder form of nutrition (gyconutrients) that I found off the "Autism Today" web page. Jack has been on them now for 1 month. Started out with a 1/4 of a teaspoon twice a day for 2 weeks and then 1/2 teaspoon twice a day for 2 weeks. I am going to continue with the 1/2 teaspoon for another 2 weeks and increase the dose again. Results...... 1st week Jack was wild, I couldn't keep up with him, he was like high on a sugar rush or something. Was told this would happen and to be prepared for it. After that we started to see a change in him. Changes>> more and longer eye contact, use of words and comprehension, less sensory issues, appropriate play.... just to name a few. No miracle cure, mind you but we see things in him that were not there before. Will keep you posted. If any one is interested in the Gyconutrient info I have found on the net, private message me and I will give you some web sites to check out. They are very interesting. Me again. Here is a web site that helps to explain what glyconutrients are. http://www.glyconutrientsreference.com./ how to you feel about the diet and which one is the best. How to you feel about the aba program. were do you find help to paid for aba program I am new to this board and just started my daughter on the glyconutrients two weeks ago. Are you also doing any diet with your son? I have heard great results with this, but all have also been on the diet? I would greatly appreciate and messages you have for me. Thanks alot Where did you order the glyconutrients from? I just ordered enzymes for Zack, but I want to put him on the glyconutrients too! TIA, Jessica I used the glyconutrients for a few months and did not see any results. I am anxious to hear your results!Hello Out There!!!! I have been off the board for many months, not that I haven't thought of some of you and how your children were doing. It has been almost a year since we (my husband and I) thought something might be different with our son Jack...that he might be autisitc. Since the offical word, I have (like all of you out there) tried to find ways to help Jack adjust to his world, trying to make the fog he lives in clear. I had asked many months ago if anyone had experimented with glyconutrients and other nutritional things..... Jack turned the big 3 yesterday and though I understand and realize that no 2 autistic children are alike, I wanted to share my story and experience with you all. When we first notice Jack slipping away, and that somethings were just not right...loss of eye contact, licking himself, loss of speech, running to corners, and etc. We began our search for help, this is one of the first places I found.... We set up a therapy program for him..speech 2x a week, OT 1x a week, EI 1x a week and PT 2x a month also an in home ABA program was in the process of getting under way... but I felt that Jack needed something more than these 45-60 minute sessions and looked to his makeup/body. I had always been told "You are what you eat", so I began doing online research...I found info about milk alergies and took him off milk and as much dairy as I could, I then looked for somthing to supplement the nutrition he was misiing from diary and found glyconutrients on the Autisim Today web site and went from there trying to find others....since then Jack has been taking Glyconutrients, SuperN., DMG, Colostrum and Latobacillus Acidophilus. My child is a different child, he no longer runs to corners, he is talking, not as much as we like but we can understand him and he comprehends, he no longer licks himself, makes wonderful eye contact, will engage with others and many numerous other things that I am soo..... proud of. It is as if the fog is lifting for him. Don't get me wrong, he is by no means cured, but better and with continued investigation into nutrition and therapy I feel HE WILL Learn to understand and deal with his autisim. Our Doctors tend to call this "thing" that haunts our children a behavioral disorder, but I tend to believe that there is something chemically wrong with our childrens makeup and wiring. My little guy starts special ed preschool on Monday and I am SO PROUD of him! He is truly my hero. I laughed with his teacher and said "You better keep up with him, ya know.....he learned to identify a trapizoid when he was only 32 months old!" Best wishes to you all in your quest. If anyone out there would like info on where I did my research or where I ordered product from you can email me at wendy_bumgarner@bcswan.net. I use phyto nutrients. Life force international. |
