Toledo, Ohio-Lucas County I am glad you found daycare. I think a friend of yours might have posted here a few weeks ago trying to find help for you. If not then there is another single mother in Toledo with three kids trying to find daycare for her autistic child. Anyway, I am from Dayton, so not much help but I think a few people around this forum may be from Toledo. You would probably do better to post on the parents of autistic children part of the forum since it gets more traffic. JarBears mom posted there yesterday about an autistic child lost from school reported on a Toledo news station, so I bet she is from Toledo.I keep hearing of all the resources and help for children with autism in my area. Why can't I find any and my son has doctors and case managers from two different places, why aren't they informing me of more help if it's available. It took me two weeks just to find him a daycare and the only reason that happened is because the daycare supervisor is pretty much doing me a favor by letting donoven attend, there is no guarantee it will last. I would appreciate any and all help to find me some names, numbers, websites, etc.. anything.
