Free Parent Program (WV/MD/PA/OH Area)This was just posted in our local paper (Morgantown, WV) and I thought I would mention it here...this is the basic info: "Keys to Successful Inclusion" presented by educator and author Sheila Wagner, a free program of interest to parents of children with special needs. June 15 (Wednesday) 8:30a - 3:30p at South Middle School in Morgantown, WV. Wagner is affiliated with Auburn University in Atlanta, GA, is director of GA's MONARCH School Inclusion Program for children with ASD and is an author specializing in inclusion. She will address issues related to the successful inclusion of children with special needs and "at risk" children and also will discuss a successful peer mentoring program adopted in her home state. Wagner's appearance in conjunction with the Monongalia County Schools Special Education Department and the North Central Chapter of the Autism Society of West Virginia.
