| Hi everyone. I posted a similar question on another thread regarding the GFCF diet. I started my son on the GFCF diet right along with using the metal free spray. He has been horrible since. He hasn't been sleeping and he has been having major tantrums. So my question is: Has anyone had any similar experiences with either the diet or the spray. I dont have experience with Metal free, but these things could re distribute metals. You'd want to lower the body burden of mercury before trying any other chelation. Else you'd end up pushing mercury and metals into the brain. What is metal free's active ingredient and is a doctor over seeing and have yout tested the child. Metal Free is PCA-RX - Clathration not chelation. I dunno too much about its redistribution, but its generally regarded as safer but lower efficiency than chelation with DMSA/PS. If I recall.It's supposed to be the natural way to draw metals from the body. I got it from a holistic practitioner. I think I'll stop it and see a M.D. In some cases, you may want to dump the easy to chelate metals out of the body as fast as you can. Else the slow method will end up moving the metals to the brain - One reason why DMPS blows the doors off DMSA in intitial effect. DMPS doesn't cross BBB, and its got a narrower pull of metals and its got strong affinity for those metals. And it will clean out so fast that your body all of a sudden can function much better. Then it begins the slow transportation of metals out of the brain. So in some cases DMPS is much much safer than DMSA. |
