am I the only one....

Back to Autism Information >> Next Topic

who feels butt-ugly when it's their time of the month?? I've got a major case of the uglies. My pants are tight, my pores are huge, my eyebrows look mean....and the list goes on.

Please tell me I'm not alone.

I am sure you are beautiful!  I get rather nit picky about the way I look around that time of the month, too.  Just don't do what I did!...I flipped my hair and starting cutting away. (lol)  Stress makes a person do some rather strange things. Now that spring is here, I am sure I will be do more walking.  Try not to be so hard on yourself...you are a wonderful-beautiful Mother.  Just look at how happy your children are...that is a LOT of beauty!  And that, my dear Friend, is all because of your beauty.  :)Sorry But I feel fine

John,

FUNNY.......

You should feel lucky!!

So do I, but I'm 56.  OH, the memories...

Treat yourself really well at that time of the month.  Take a longer shower.  Remember to use moisturizer and scent.  Wear whatever is not tight and makes you feel pretty.  And if it gets REALLY bad, see your OB/GYN to see if there is some medical issue or medical remedy.

If all else fails --- CHOCOLATE!!!

I am w/ you. If one more thing goes wrong I am going to lose my mind!! I take it as I get to eat what I want and try a little excersise next week.  I don't think your the only woman that ever feels that way, I feel like that all the time around that time of the month, my skin goes crazy I gain at least 5 pounds extra and eat like theres no tomorrow You are definetely not the only one.  I go on a rampage that time of month.  I nitpic at everything and I am just a mess.

I'm a wreck that time of month too... I wear my "fat" clothes that are loose so I can hide my body.  I have 2 sizes of jeans, my normal great butt jeans and my size bigger jeans that are loose and a "comfort" thing... I am super moody then the day before it rears it's ugly head, I have to have sex, lol, it is not an option!  It's a really wierd pattern.

I also cry at sappy commercials!  Like the telephone ones that say stay in touch.

Midol helps.

Monster here as well! I start picking at my face and seeing what is wrong with it, I always have my hair in a poney tail and wear my construction tees. My DH hates it! And i say, go through this and four childbirths and I'll be sympathetic to you!

Chocolate, midol, and lots and lots of hot packs work great!

You guys are so funny  Thanks for making me laugh and helping me feel like I'm not alone.

Screech, I didn't cut my hair, but I wanted to go blonde (from very dark hair) and my hairdresser talked me into getting blonde highlights instead. My hair looks black with a bunch of orange streaks. I think I read somewhere that it's a bad idea to put chemicals on your hair while it's "that time". I guess I should have listened. She said that she can put a toner on it to tone it down....we will see. I will stick with burgundy highlights from now on.

Thanks again guys.
