My son has been GFCF for the last 7 months.  We did notice some improvement when we started it but the diet is so hard to do and the things he'll eat on it are very limited.  My son has also had chronic diarrhea since he started solid foods, GFCF or not.  A few weeks ago we started giving him AFP Peptizyde and his stools have been firm ever since.  We also started giving him yogurt and cheese (think I'll start wheat today) a couple weeks ago with no regression.  Just thought I'd let you all know that there may be an easier alternative to GFCF.   GFCF didn't work for us either, though I know many have great success with it.  Ansley doesn't have any bm issues either, so I don't know if she would need the enzyme or not..........what does the AFP Peptizyde do?  Where do you get it?  This is interesting because I just started to get a recommendation today for a gastroenterologist for my son. I will mention this peptizyde to him. We have had problems for years with Kevin's stools. Maybe this could help.I got it from Houston Nutraceuticals.  They have a variety of enzymes but the AFP Peptizyde mostly tackles the protein in gluten and casein.  It's marketed as an alternative to the GFCF diet.  My son is also allergic to soy and dairy, as well as intolerant of corn and certain fruits like peaches and bananas.  I explained all of this to the President of the company (you can email him directly from their website) and this is the enzyme he suggested.  My son is now eating all of those foods again!  If anyone is interested in enzymes, check out enzymestuff.com.  Very informative.
