Aide Does he currently have an aide at preschool?OZZIE-ROZIES-MA40689.6817013889 Right now he's not enrolled in the ISD. We pulled him out of the ISD last year since they had recommended Kindergarten at the time and he wasn't ready for it. So he goes to a private pre-school where the groups are small (not 20 kids) in the mornings and attends ABA therapy (which is 1-on-1) in the afternoons.   My son has a disgnosis of autism. He will be 6 years soon. But we are trying to register for Kindergarten. And we think even in Kindergarten he'll need a lot if support. I think he'll need an aide at least for the first 6 months of the school years. He has severe attention and focus issues. That said he may not follow what the teacher is saying and may not stay on task. He also does not have the tripod grip. So if the teacher asks him to write something, he won't have the write grip. And he'll end up writing really huge letters. How do I justify an aide in his ARD? Best regards, Babyrish's mom.
