B12 in a vial?

You need to call back the place that sent it to you.  They will send you what you were supposed to get for free and tell you what to do with the other.

It was a combination of errors, part of the problem was a new RX that the pharmacy uses, the area for injections wasn't checked, vial was checked instead so that's what they sent even when I had told them to check our previous order.  So, now I'm paying over $100 + $35.00 shipping to send the single syringes filled with the b12 and since i just rec'd the vial, my insurance won't cover it.  The pharmacy didn't say what to do with the vial, that's why I'm asking what I should do with it and if we can use it transdermally.

I rec'd in error a 50ML Vial of b12.  It has benzyl alcohol as a preservative, and I will not give this to my son.  What can I do with it?  My other child takes b12 shots, but I'm also scared to give this to her and I don't have needles anyway.  Can we apply it transdermally?  Any suggestions would be appreciated.
