Emotional outbursts in school

I had a tenant one time that could hear the humming that the flourescent lights gave off.  It is a rare form of hearing I think?  Not too sure on that.  The research I did said that people that have this type of hearing can even hear  the noise that electrical transformers put off.  Basically if people have this type of hearing they can hear noises that people with normal hearing (I am beginning to hate that word, normal) can't.  Good luck!!!

Overall with the classroom seems like there is a lack of communication going on.  Or maybe the teacher is not an ideal fit for your child.

My son is pdd & almost 8 years old in an inclusion class in nyc where he is the only inclusion student with a one on one paraprofessional in a generAL EDUCATION CLASS OF 18 CHILDREN.  He has been acting up with very disruptive outbursts in the classroom as of this year.  He was promoted with shining grades for 1st grade and he has no friends in this class with a teacher that doesn't seem to facilitate any socialization.  Three weeks after I spoke to her on the phone with her telling me that things weren't perfect but doing better and coming along she tells her principal that she doesn't want to continue with him in her class.  This was without any indication to us that any thing was wrong.  He has an inclusion teacher who is " incharge"  that told me (because I am there daily) that she was surprised that the class teacher took these steps so soon.  this indicated to me that she thought that this was inevitable and nothing was being communicated to us when we are very approachable and on hand.

In a conversation with my son I asked him if anything was bothering him.  He told me the humming.  Iasked if it was the children humming and he said no.  He didn't know who was humming.  I think that the flourescents are bothering him.

If anyone has any input on either the difficulty in the class or flourescents we would realllly appreciate it!!  I'm also going to have tested for sensitive hearing that someone told me about.
