Private School For PDD/NOS I have two children. One is classic ADHD, age 12, and the other is PDD/NOS age 10. There is an awesome school that my 12 year old attends that I hope to send my ten year old to next year. They cater to ADHD, Austim and LD. It goes from grade six to grade twelve. The tuition is almost sixteen thousand a year, but I feel I have no choice because the public school in my area are not well suited for special needs kids after fifth grade. I am looking for resources for grants and scholarships to help finance my PDD child. If anyone has any leads, I'd appreciate it. Everything has been a dead end so far. If I remember correctly, there was some info on Cureautismnow.com and autismcares.com.  It was a few months ago, but I am sure the links are still on those websites.   If your school does not have the programs and therapies that your child needs, you can go to a private school and the school will hafta pay for it.  My situation is probably different as the school is non compliant with AJ's IEP.  Also, if they go beyond the 50 days they had to assess AJ, they will be non compliant, again.  These private schools are really expensive, however, if that is the place for our children to go to learn, then so be it.  :)
