MA - Diapers through Mass HealthWe just started with Mass Health for our son and we heard you could get diapers if your child is over the age of 3. Jimmy just turned 4. Does anyone know how this works? Is there a number to call or do I need to call the Mass Health office? Thank you for any info you can provide. We went through our local CVS pharmacy and they contacted our pedi to complete forms. It took about 1 month to get everything approved. We got pullups and diapers. There were some specific questions that we had to answer to get pullups- did he have ability to pull them up/down, did we have a potty plan, along those lines. If CVS doesnt stock large enough sizes for him you can go through a medical supply complany in your area- you just have to find one that takes masshealth. We started with a medical supply co, but the quality of the diapers was horrible so we switched to CVS and got CVS brand diapers. The one advantage to the medical supply company was that they delivered the diapers once a month whereas with CVS I had to order refill and pick up each month. Your pedi office maybe able to direct you to options in your area. |
