Columbus/Worthington OH

Do you live in Ohio currently?  I'm in NE Ohio (Akron area) and have heard that there are great resources in Columbus.  But I don't know of any directly.  But if you're not currently in Ohio, the one good thing is that we have the Autism Scholarship here that's fairly unique.  Do you know about the scholarship?  If not, then I'll add more info....

But overall, I've heard nothing but great things.

My family lives there. My ds has NEVER gone to a school in Ohio...we moved to FL when he was 2. I've heard both good things and bad. In OH they offer Autism school vouchers, but from what I hear daycares are hard to find. My step-sister's daughter is ASD - dx aspergers. She found a school that she LOVES ...mostly. I think there are pros and cons to every area. We have had GREAT luck here in FL for the past 6 years = not without battles or probs but still...he's 9 now - on honor roll and made student of the month 3 times this year. His teacher loves him. Good luck! Okay, I think I should do a separate website where all of us parents can really post about the states we live in, the districts (school) therapies etc. so that it would be much more beneficial for us.  That being said, does anyone have positive or negative about this area?  My ds is almost 7, non verbal and lower on the spectrum.  So I need help and am looking at this area.  Any and all advice would be greatly appreciated.
