Any Colorado people?

I was just wondering if anyone could tell me what services were like in Colorado?  Will will be 3 in March and Sofia is 18 months old, both have a dx of PDD.  I am most interested in the Boulder Valley  school District because we have family out there, but would be willing to go anywhere in the state for better services.

Any feedback on the the new insurance act that was recently passed?  Anyone have success using insurance to pay for therapy without long appeals processes? Is it just instant approval?

We are in NYC now.  A typical EI therapy package here consists of 20 hours of ABA (combo of center and home based), plus additional hours for speech, OT, and PT.  I called one center in Colorado and was told to expect paying $900 a week per kid just for special instruction. Being that I don't pay a dime for therapy here , it woud be more cost effective for me to pay rent here.   The Autism speaks chapter in Colorado told my FIL that if it was his grandkid he's stay in NYC and not move to CO.

Any feedback is greatly appreciated.

I don't know about CO, sorry. I'm considering NY myself. Can you tell me what areas are good? My finances are tight, so that's important..
