OAT Test and Comprehensive Stool Test Thanks Nene! HI there! We did the OAT, comprehensive stool test, IgG food panel test, urine prophyrins test. So far the OAT results are back... surprisingly no yeast and fungus problem. Huge oxidation issue, fair alert on detoxification and Neurotransmitter Metabolism Markers and bacteria - Indican. That's it. I always suspected DS has yeast issue but the stool test is not back yet.  Anyone has experienced that on different results on the test? DS is 7 and turning 8 soon. Although verbal but can only use limited single words or two words phrase. We keep our hope and pray for the miracles to happen. He didnt get diagnose until quite old. Officially diagnosed when he was 6. I know... I know... we are in a city called Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia (with the tallest twin tower in the world). No many people know about Malaysia. Anyhow, we dont have any DAN! doctor here and we go to Singapore for that. Just embarking the journey a month ago and learning more and more everyday. Thanks. Sara You might try autismweb.com for their diet and biomedical section-many of the  biomed moms here belong over there too and there are some more "experts" to answer your questions. I think that if didn't find yeast on the OAT that you won't on the stool test-but you might find parasites and bad bacteria (and it will let you know how much good bacteria you have).  My dd has bad yeast and it showed up on the OAT but in the stool test.
