North Carolina We are relocating next year to North Carolina about an hour from Raleigh. Would be interested to know of any schools, services etc that are available for my son. Any help would be really appreciated.  He will be almost 4 when we move and I will be looking for preschool to begin with. Any other info on therapy places would also be fab. Many Thanks Sophie Hi Bubblegirl.        I am in NC.  Compared to other states, NC is not great about educating chilren with disabilities especially autism.  There was a list circulating last year NC was in the bottom 10.  However, since you will be close to Duke and UNCC I hope you will have a better than average program.  A lot is up to you though.  A lot of parents get additional therapy for their kids and run supplemental home based programs.  Depending on your child's severity, you may be able to get additional help from the state.  Good luck with the move.  Hope to find out more about your little one when you get down here.  Concernedpa.   concernedpa.40159.7021990741
