Looking for Autism SoftwareYou might look into TeachTown: http://web.teachtown.com/ . I personally don't use it, so I can't comment on it, but you might want to look at it for yourself. There are also some free online games for younger children here: http://www.do2learn.com/ Nicole I work at a school whose Autism program has money set aside specifically for software to use with students. The teachers are looking for programs that can be used with preschool level students. Anything that is language, math, or related to basic concepts (opposites, colors, etc.). These students have limited language, so again, basic concepts and pictures are great. I've looked into things from Linguisystems, and No-Glamour, but that is all. Thanks for any advice! I have sued both DT Trainer and the STAR curriculum and I liiked both. Sorry, I was distracted by my grandson and sent the message without proofreading and thinking it through. I meant to say I used, not sued, both of these programs but after thinking it through, I remembered that STAR was not on the computer. Laureate learning System Autism package was very helpful to my son.this will help, I have found an interactive software which helps to improve speech delayed problems and help build vocabulary on toddlers and young children with special needs. SeeMe SPEECH COACH has been very effective in the learning process of the children. http://www.seemetutor.com/ |
