mHBOT??A 4 hour drive away is a clinic that offers mHBOT treatment. This is expensive so I don't have $ to spend on something that might not work the way we have to do it. Please post if you have any experience or research to share on periodic vs continuous treatments. If I get 2 dives in for 2 days in a row and no more for a month will that be worth it? Or should it only be done ~1/week on a long term basis?
No, that's not worth it. mHBOT should be done daily for blocks of time, and then a break taken for several weeks and then you start up again. Once a week, or two dives for two days and then nothing for a month would be ineffective. We did two hours a day (with one day off a week) until we hit 90 hours, then took a three week break then started again. This is what our DAN instructed us to do with our 17 year old. Instructions for our 4 year old (at the time) was five days a week, with two off, until we hit 90 and then a three week break and start over. You're better off saving your money until you can afford to either buy a mild HBOT chamber you can have at home indefinitely, or until you can afford to buy two 40 hour blocks of deep pressure at a clinic and can pay for a hotel also (40 hours over two weeks time and then go back again for two weeks a month or so later). ok thanks - that is very helpful. |
