Please, help with IEP

Figured it out myself, but thanks for all the replys!!! LOL LOL

so what was your solution?

Hi, what should be on IEP for a child that needs small group math, reading, and so on? And he is with intervention specialist ALOT, so should that be on there? His IEP now is a joke. 20 minute pullout a day for math thats it...I need everything on it as he is below grade level in math and reading. He even sees her for spelling and writing..He has impulse control issues, should that be on there? I get NO contact from his general ed teacher, its like he doesnt exist..I get some from inter. spec. Usually if he has a problem, but we have no solution if we are not all working on it..And goals? They told me as long as he is not failing or doing worse, they consider that progressing! I need proof as his report card was identical to midterm..And they didnt even give me anything besides his report card, no IEP progress etc...Soo do not understand why its soo hard to just do right by the child. I think he gets pulled out of general education because there are 26 kids in class, and he needs alot of help..Thats not his fault though, dont take him out because its too much of a burden..First, you probably should request an IEP meeting as soon as possible.  In AZ, we have 15 days from the request.  The IEP should have a place for parent concerns.  Also, the general education teacher should be at your child's IEP meeting.  If your child is falling behind in general education, perhaps it might be better to have your child return temporarily to the resource room during math, reading, and writing in order to have the special education teacher do more interventions with your child.  Additionally, you should consider assisting with creating a behavior intervention plan (BIP) for your child with the IEP team.  As a teacher, I go first at the behaviors.  Then I teach, finally the student will learn.
