There was a time I thought mine would never go on the potty.  When that day came we all celebrated.  What a great Thanksgiving gift!  That's a huge step! Doing the happy pooper dance for you nakama.  I know what a great relief and sense of accomplishment you must feel.  How many parents really get as excited as "us" over successful poops?   Hip Hip Hooray!   Good For Everyone!  You know that you find your peace in the small accomplishments.WHOA!!! I am so excited right now...my 8.3 year old son went poop in the potty for the first time on his own!! He just became potty trained for urine about 4 months ago...and that was HUGE...he has always been very constipated, so BMs only happened about once a week WITH a suppository and miralax...he would never sit on the potty, just have accidents in the tub or floor....anyway, a couple of days ago, I gave him the suppository, and sat him on the potty very quickly and he went a little bit...i made a big deal out of it....and tonight, all by himself, he sat on the potty, without a suppository, and did it!!!!! I am so happy....gross topic, I know, but had to share
