Autism Polar Plunge 2009!! Hello! My 6 year old neice suffers from autism, that she's had since she was very young. She does not speak very much at all. She has spoken 1 word this year and hadn't in quite some time. She has a very small diet and makes no eye contact. She is slowly getting better. My sister and her husband is participating in the polar plunge this year, to help raise money for autism awareness! Last year she was a part of a team, this year she has started her own, in an effort to raise money for autism.
