Flu Shot injuryThis poor girl... I often try not to push my vaccine opinions on to family and friends, but THIS I will forward. :o( http://www.generationrescue.org/desiree_jennings.html That is crazy. Wow.
It's awful, isn't it? I always think of vaccine injuries only affecting children; it never occurred to me that the same could happen to adults. A friend of mine also just had her one-year-old son spend a week in the ICU with GBS as a result of a seasonal flu shot. He now faces possibly years of physical therapy to get back on track, and I'm just terrified for her that she's also looking at other diagnoses down the line. He was saying a few words before he got sick and isn't now - familiar, isn't it? His doctor thinks it's just the trauma of being so sick - hopefully that's all it is. Ironically, she said that there was another child a few doors down who had swine flu but thankfully recovered and went home. ![]() I really feel bad for this lady. At least she can talk and tell of her injuries, and I only wish children could have this ability so this epidemic could be if not over at least diminished. Will the cbs, nbc, and abc news cover it?????? Would love to see snyderman and this girl and all the flu hype. might even tape it. When are they going to admit not everyone can safely get vaccines. Theresa Theresa I think they know that everyone cannot get the vaccines...the info sheet on the flu shot is full of side effects ( and they only effect some people)...Most people don't have serious reaction to the shot. I did see this story on the news last week, but I think it was local news. How horrible![]() ![]()
I saw that on tv. It is just awful. My mother-in-law was harrassing me for not giving my kids the flu and H1N1 vaccine....After seeing this, she hasn't said a word. My heart goes out to this young lady and her family. I'm with drmomtojoe. I feel for the family; but there's risk involved in everything we do. We make a great leap of faith just going outside and getting in our cars. Just weigh your risks and make decisions that are best for you; and lend support, prayer, etc. to individuals like this when things don't work out. |
