	Vacation / Biomedical Advice Just wondering if any of you have any tips for continuing biomedical for your child while on a trip. I find it hard to transport everything (especially on the plane), and to actually keep up on giving them everything while at restaurants. And then of course, there is trying to stay on the diet while eating out! Do you take all the supplements with you, or just some items (and take a break from the rest)?   On our last trip, which was just for a weekend, I ended up only giving enzymes and trying to stick to the diet as best as possible. Is this okay to do for a short time? Also what do you do for cod liver oil? I was thinking of getting some gel caps. Might be less messy. Either way it I guess it cannot go on the carry on luggage. Any suggestions? __________________________ mom to 9 year old boy/girl twins (Asperger's/PDD-NOS) We take everything, but then we haven't flown since DS was born.  If you have things that need to stay cold, you can get cooler bags and gel ice packs to put in your luggage.  Beyond that, I'd take everything possible, especially anything that you know has made a difference in behavior, sleep, etc.  The diet is a challenge, but if you know what restaurants are going to be nearby, you can look them up or contact them ahead of time to see what they offer.  We've done that quite a bit, and it's helped us map out routes for car trips. Just wanted to let you know that my partner and I have gone on a cruise and 2 driving vacations with our 10 year old son with autism. One thing we did was have foods that he eats delivered to wherever our destination was. We usually use VitaCost.com, ,they have great prices. As for the meds, we usually have one bag just for medications! Good luck!
