Best online prices for supps?

I just ran across www.autism-supplements.com

Prices are about 20% less than others..... anybody have any experience with this company ?

No, no experience with this company and the supplements they sell are the same price and exact same brands as what I would get at my local Vitamin Shoppe or health food store.  Not really vitamins that are formulated specifically for children on the autism spectrum.

For some vitamins or minerals that would be fine, but for other products you really want to get the quality of certain products that are formulated specially for our kids by companies like Kirkmans, Klaire, OurKids, Houston, etc.

For anything you would get from this website, you could go get from your local health food store for the same price, (or maybe cheaper if you deduct shipping from your total).

I have got some supplements from eBay.  I used momemedia seller, she has good prices on some stuff, cheaper than kirkman site and such and a good selection and ships fast.  I get my supplements from Momemedia, she is Dr Neubrander's daughter who has an ebay account :) http://stores.ebay.com/Mom-E-Media
Dr Neubrander is a well known doctor in New Jersey who specializes in children with Autism. He is one of the leading DAN(Defeat Autism Now) doctors in the country.

JulieA - Thanks for the insight.

KofB and MomofCurtis- Thanks for the ebay resource.

I just started Supplements about 6 weeks ago and I get very confused at the criteria being used to determine what vitamins / Mins are fine to buy at Health Stores and which ones would require specialty manufacturers. Is there a specific listing or guide that you use ?  or is it just by word of mouth.

On the site mentioned, we purchased:

Dolphin Pals DHA Gummies, Garden of Life Cod liver oil, Natrol Melationin -

like I said, a bit cheaper than others, but am I missing something here?

I think places like Kirkman are committed to makign every supplement without soy, casein, gluten and fillers, so parents like to order every thing from them without having to read every label in the store, etc. It's convenient to order most things from one place that you can completely trust, even if it costs a bit more. Dadofthree, some companies aren't as diligent when making their products, like making sure individual pills have what they say they have.  You have to research, but this forum is a good place to do that.  Sometimes you do have to pay more to make sure you get a quality product.  Not to say that website has inferior products, but it's hard to say for sure.  Lots of companies try to cash in on the autism cash cow since most parents will try almost anything for their kids to help them.  Kirkman, Claire, and Douglas labs are pretty well trusted I think.  Side note- momemedia usually takes an offer of $2 less than the buy it now price on ebay.
