Hey guys can I ask you a favor?Aw i didnt see this until now! Im sorry I will be trying again, but is the website having problems? Is everyone else getting their follow up email to click to finish voting? I think you have to count how many bands have a higher percentage of votes in order to see what place they are in. Thanks to everyone who is voting.  We have until April 26.
Unfortunately though, as of this morning our percentage seems to have dropped. Staind is pretty good, if you can play on their ticket you are doing real well. If you don't make on this particular contest, keep playing anyway. Is there a link to some of your music? jonsfca15th huh? Well that's progress because as of last Saturday Jonathan our guitarist said we were in 18th. Just 5 more places... Well I voted twice using 2 different computers and I think I know a third one I can use....

But here's the thing: My band Eden Crow is entered in a contest, and the winner gets to open the Edge Fest Concert on May 9 which is headlined by national acts Slipknot, Staind, Chevelle, and others. In other words, whoever wins will play in front of thousands of people. The contest rules are as follows: The first round consists of local fans voting for one band. The ten bands with the highest vote totals will be entered into a final round in which a panel of judges from 4 different record companies will decide who gets the slot. But in order to get there, we have to be #10 or higher in the voting. You can only vote once from any computer because the voting site remembers your computer's cookies and all. Currently Eden Crow is something like #18, and we need to be at least #10 by April 26th in order to go before the panel of judges. So if you don't mind my asking, will you take the time to go to this link... http://edgefest.edgelittlerock.com/pages/botb2009.html ...and cllick the dot next to "Eden Crow" and then go down and click "VOTE"? (You'll also have to enter a valid email address I guess so it can keep the voting fair.) **EDIT** Hey, I just figured out that after you submit your email address it sends you a message and you have to go to your email inbox and click on the "verify" link it sends you in order for your vote to count!! I'd be your friend forever if you would!  (OK I'm already your friend but will you PLEEEAAAASE do it anyways??)

Sweetpups I'm sorry about not posting as much. I've just been really busy with work/teaching and stuff that I hardly get on anymore. I'm even beginning to neglect my MySpace, which I had been pretty addicted to there for a while. I'm still hanging in there though.
And thanks everyone who's voting so far. There's a lot of people on here; maybe you guys can be sort of a "secret weapon" for us huh?
Also note that I added up there that in order to "officially" vote you have to go to your email after you submit it and (I guess) verify that you are a real person before it accepts your vote. Our percentage started dropping about a week into the contest and never recovered. I guess we just weren't as good at advertising. BTW flaminjo I couldn't help but notice your sig. Kudzu is one of my favorite plants. I have some in a giant pot that I grow every year. It grows up a lattice and it's really pretty in the higher parts, but I have to trim off all the terrestrial vines down low to keep it from rooting outside the pot. Hi Mate,
