My dd has been on a GFCF diet for several months now along with taking enzymes, probiotics, Sac. boulardii, B12 shots, vitamins/minerals, etc. She is doing well. We just got the test results for her IgG response to a variety of foods. As it turns out, she is highly sensitive to eggs, citrus, peanuts, pineapple, soy, and of course casein and gluten. I am just wondering if you saw further progress in your kids after removing other foods besides, casein and gluten. And, after a period of time, were you able to reintroduce these foods? Or is this forever? Thanks! _____________________ mom to 9 year old boy/girl twins (Asperger's/PDD-NOS)We saw a much bigger improvement with my son when we removed all intolerant foods, vs our initial blind try at gfcf. Thanks rhyssdad. Taking eggs and soy (among some others)out of her diet is going to challenge. So, it is very encouraging to know that others see further improvements doing the same. I have already removed eggs from her diet, and I do believe she has improved already. ______________________ mom to 9 year old boy/girl twins (Asperger's/PDD-NOS) |
