Thanks so much! I signed up. I got my tickets today! I'm so excited. I can't wait for the 25th. I didn't realize tickets were so expensive, this is so awesome of them to do.  OMG, Trinity :) maybe we'll see one another there!!! We are going on Saturday as well!!!! That would be fun! Do you know if the water part is open? I tried calling, but no one is answering the phones yet. Just a heads up.  The park will be extremely crowded that day.  We have season passes and in October we just happened to go and this event was happening.  It was packed and of course you couldn't do the go to the front of the line thing.  We only got on two rides that day.
It is a wonderful event and I hope everyone has a good time.  Who knows we might go for a little while oursleves.

Actually the park is shut down just for this Variety Club Event. Sesame place isnt opened til May for all others.

October's event was held the day after the park oficially closed.  The Variety Club event at Sesame Place in October is for any Variety Club kid (some with disabilities some without, it was a very mixed crowd) and their families, we were there and it was crowded.

April's event is for children with Autism only, we went last year and there was not a huge crowd and it was very comfortable, they had a Quite Room, special shows adapted for kids with sensory issues and during the parade the characters did not just randomly go towards the kids, they were very aware of the audience.  Last April the water park was open, this Saturday will be hot so I am hoping it will be open.

I just called the Vareity Club of Philadelphia and asked about the water park portion of Sesame Place. According to them weather permitting it will be open however some of the water rides may not be operating, the Lazy River being one of them.  The newest water ride will be open though and it looks like fun!I posted this and then forgot to check in.. Did anyone go?   how was it? Was
the water park open? I so wish we could have gone.. Hope everyone had
fun!it was alot of fun!!! The weather was perfect :) The water park was open. The only thing that wasnt open was the newest attraction Count's Castle and the Lazy River.
