How common are behavioral issues in PDD? Like getting upset, screaming, yelling, doesn't want to talk to anybody, yells at sibling, and bites on his nails or fingers (only when he's upset.) How severe is this or is it common with children with PDD? Very common - the severity depends entirely on the child.We have lots of this :( Somedays she can not stand for anyone to look at her,many times it seems as there is no trigger. And then I know many families that do not have these same issues.. their children seem to be able to regulate better. It may be stimming but it is not melt downs. It has changed over the past two years for the better :) |
