Hi, I haven't been very active on this forum, I still read it occasionally though and hope everyone has been fine. Updating a bit in case anyone wants to read some good news:) We had really big problems with Em's water phobia for the past year. We're moving forward very slowly, but he's already playing with bubbles, doesn't freak out if we flush the toilet, he goes to the bathroom nicely if the water isn't running. Still can't bathe him properly, but we're getting there. He's eating more-the menu right now consists of chicken nuggets, crackers, apple juice, and a 5 cent euro coin We had to go to the doctor because of that, but all was fine in the end. Em also learned 3 new signs, which he uses frequently, and can point to some colours if we name them. Anyway, I'm just proud and wanted to share:) Can't believe he's turning 6 in just a couple of weeks... [QUOTE=Frost] Was your "in the end" comment an intentional pun on "passing" this issue? You made me giggle. I am SOOOO glad he is getting better, both with the liquid, his eating, and the signing. Things are looking up, it sounds like! keep us posted... Thanks for the update. Great up-date, so happy things are looking up for your family. Keep up the good work! Hi, Frost, I was wondering about you and how things were going. Thanks for the up-date! Sorry I missed this until now. I'm so glad things are looking up! |
