Got me all teary-eyed! http://news.yahoo.com/s/afp/20090324/od_afp/thailandchildren offbeat I can totally see how something like this would be needed ... That is really neat.. I wonder if he always keeps the costume handy .
That was really cute, though I was wondering why he had the costume until the end lol.
This story made all the newspapers in Norway, too. I was thinking the guy was a real weirdo until I saw that he uses costumes for kid-friendly fire drills and demonstrations. That is really great. However, it does make me wonder how the kid got on the ledge in the first place?!Katiesmom - EXACTLY what I was wondering! How was the ledge accessible to him? I mean, it's a special needs school and even in a mainstream school - I don't think a 3rd floor ledge would be accessible to a student here! (At least I certainly HOPE not!). I loved it, and think how that would have worked with my son to. There are some good people doing great things for are kids out there. [QUOTE=snoopywoman]Katiesmom - EXACTLY what I was wondering!
