ABA past kindergarten?

Our son is getting ready to transition to kindergarten in the fall. We are requesting that his home ABA program continue during kindergarten. While it's another year past that until first grade, I am wondering how many kids have an ABA program that continues past kindergarten. Have people found ABA to be appropriate for their kids after kindergarten? Are some school districts willing to support it? I'm thinking specifically of home ABA programs.

Thanks!

Becky

My boys are not mainstreamed, but at 11 and 13 they still use aba at school.

At home we have res-hab.  They work on all types of things, such as independent living skills, and table activities (puzzles, mr.potato head).  While it is not really ABA.  The staff still uses ABA techniques in their activities.
Only three of the nine children that I work with doing ABA therapy are kindergarten aged or younger. My oldest ones are 19, 13, and 10. It's very appropriate for them. I'm not sure how willing schools are to implement past kindergarten, but it's worth a shot.
