Therapy Question, For SchoolI'm sorry I wasn't on-line last night to respond to your post. Yes, therapy definitely benefits kids with delays!!! I don't know where you would go to get actual statistics, but it has long been shown that with early intervention and therapies, kids with delays progress much better than without. There are stories abounding on this forum alone regarding how much therapies have helped our kids. I'm sure you could look into ASA website, for example, or others similar, to find more measurements. Good luck with your paper.
You might call your local rehabilitation center or physical/occupational therapist. Mine is always quoting studies that show that these therapies are beneficial. Of course, I don't need studies. 3 months ago my 13 month old child couldn't sit up, now he's standing. 6 months ago my 3 year old could hardly speak a word, he can now communicate his basic wants. I don't need studies, I have the evidence. please someone help me this paper is due in the morningI am writing a paper in my english class. I am trying to convice my audience that Kids with Delays benefit from Therapy Services and should be able to participate in therapy. Do you guys think that this is true that kids benefit from Services. and Are there any statistics are stories i can use? I had the idea of my paper because My son's other side of his family think therapy is a waste of time, when I think my son is benefiting greatly from it, so when the assignment of an argumentive essay came up i thought this one would be a good one maybe
