Backstory: We love cats, always have. We have 4 live ones, plus quite a few stuffed toys ... I have one that I made from a kit in the 60's, it is printed calico that you cut out, stitch and stuff, on my dresser -- a keepsake from my late Mom. I also had a bag of polyfill in my linen closet, for stuffing toys I make. The other morning I got up and one of the cats had gotten into the closet and pulled the bag of polyfill down, tore it open, and apparently ATE some! I was upset and was asking DH, "Why would one of them EAT this? Which one do you think it was?" etc. worrying about who was going to need surgery for an obstructed bowel. I went down the hall, at which one T remarked to DH, "Well, we know it was NOT the one on Mom's dresser." And sat smirking, waiting for him to get her funny! That's really funny! Good for her.HarrietOh, that's cute! What a positive sign for your dd What a cutie! |
