Help from parents with children with auti ya, I mean I have an office DX in 1987, but my father shows signs often similar and in some cases even more severe then me, mainly what gets me is I think I can connect with people a little better then he even can, yet I have the DX. So unless these shots have not changed at all since the decade after WW2 which I doubt HIGHLY, $hit... some of these shots now didnt even exist during my parents generation, but it seems to me genetics + environmental factors are the cause. I say environmental factors because whatever is happening is causing an EXPLOSION in ASD. Case and point. I was the very unlucky child to have a DX in the 1980's. The incidence of a DX was 1:10,000. Now its 1:166 so their is something going on and im not even a decade and a half older then MANY of the kids whos parents are on this site, quite a jump in a short period of time. Their is even strong evidence for me to beleive my GRADNFATHER could have had traits of ASD, he was born before the great depression for Gods sakes!!! What were shots like back then? Just my thinking anyways. For me I think alot of my DX had to do with where I was born, apparently in NJ their are clusters of ASD where its more then the national average, I just so happened to be in one of those clusters right up till the early 1990s'.My son was born the way he is, the shots had nothing to do with it.
