Is is December 26th yet?

I totally understand, and I'm afraid I don't have much advice.  My 4.8 yr old has been the same way this week.  I find myself clenching my teeth together all evening.  At B's school, structure has pretty much gone out the window this week thanks to all the holiday events.  Plus, his classroom is being renovated due to a leaky roof.

Grit your teeth, it is almost over.

didoHang in there! I am a teacher, and am just praying for this week to end.
There are so many disruptions and special activities, that even my high
functioning kids are starting to wear out!

Harriet

I am with you z's!

Ours is perhaps even WORSE ... the school incorporates Christmas into ASSIGNMENTS (letter to Santa, etc.).  We are in lalalalalalaland!

Hi.  Z is 5.3 and ASD (mild to mod).  He is in Kindergarten and is in Sped with pushin for "homeroom" and specials.  He has been very tired and silly when he comes home.  It is hard to get him to do anything much.  All he wants to do is stim and giggle and make funny noises.  It is driving me crazy, as I am a music teacher and have concerts and musical auditions this week.  Other than praying for Dec. 26th, are there any ideas to help with Z and his silliness?  He loves being outside, but the weather has been cruddy lately.

Thank you!
OK, then.  It ain't just me!  My schoolkids that I teach are crazy, even the sedate ones!

Oops.  Should be "Is IT December 26th yet?"  That's how fried I am right now!

So fried,  I had not noticed either!

Me neither.  Funny how your brain reads stuff right when it's wrong.
Tomorrow is the last day for my daughter and Friday is my son's last day before the big long break. She's been having a heck of a week. Jacob's birthday is the 26th, LOL :) [QUOTE=zsdad]Hi.
