Understanding Girls With AD/HD WHY am I reading this book ... and why I am posting HERE? This book was published in 2006.  I am reading it because my daughter is on ADHD meds. I am posting here because I am not sure the author is describing ADHD girls as much as she is Aspie girls ... and  Ithink some of the author's insights are helpful. I also think the symptom overlap with ASD -- as she describes ADHD symptoms -- is interesting ... so which is it ... "real" symptom overlap and ADHD being the high end of the spectrum ... OR, were all these girls underdiagnosed?  She never mentions asperger's or autism. foxl39777.3574537037May have to read this now. I keep thinking about the ADHD, autism connection thing and it's really fascinating. The more I think about it the more that I think they overlap too!  Molly -- this is waaaay interesting.  I imagine the easy way out is to just shrug, but I never take the easy way out ... I would recommend at elast getting it at the library if you can!
