And one with social content at that! She never cracks jokes ... Last night as S's ADHJD meds wore off, he threw a hissy b/c I had given him a cup of coke instead of a little bottle. DH poured his cup back into one of the little bottles. Then A started up (in little sister mode) "I wanna bottle!" So I gave her my bottle with what I had not yet poured into my cup. T quietly asked, "What about MY bottle?" All eyes swiftly fell on her ... and she cracked up. She knew just how annoying the other two were being! First time she acted older than the other two and with more insight ... Not sure if it is the meds or not, but whatever -- I'll TAKE it! Nice going T!! Sounds like a little comic relief was definitely in order and boy did she deliver. ![]() Oh, how I would love that to happen here! I remember when sean first laughed at a joke--he never got them and we had to explain. Now, he laughs hysterically over jokes and, even tells a few. Now, to have Colin and Taylor do the same. I am so glad for you! Thanks, both of you! May it happen to you soon, too, with yours! I actually emailed her SLP (who dx'd her first) and she told the mainstream teacher, and T got her favorite candy -- smarties! They were impressed and proud, too! (kinda wondered if the SLP was making a point, again, with teacher ... ). Awesome! Wishes for more funny stuff ![]() ![]() This is great. I bet you were surprised.
