Baseball’s Jim Gott: autism dad/leader

Former Dodger reliever Jim Gott has two teen sons with autism.  He started a petting zoo called Danny's Farm in the Pasadena area.  The staff includes developmentally disabled adults and the staff is trained and experienced in working with special needs kids.  A truly inclusive environment.  You can even have birthday parties there.

Jim Gott is quite a guy!

This is a great place. They are a regional center vendor, so good therapies
are available through them. We live a mile away and our older daughter is
still too young for services there, but we visit every so often and have a
great time. She leaves the place with a smile on her face every time. Our
younger daughter loves going along too!

Be sure to give them a call a few days before so that you can book a slot.
They are not a petting zoo, so need to manage the flow of people passing
through.
