My sons metal report came back and yes his mercury level was high but the level of uranium in his system was off the chart. Has anyone else encountered this or know how uranium can get into a little boy? What kind of metal test was it? Do you live in the southwest US? There is a high amount of uranium in the water down in the SW. If it was a hair test, the it means he is excreting uranium, which in a way is good, because his body is able to get rid of it. My dd's test also came back high in uranium. The lab suggested a reverse osmosis system for the house, but we are now only giving her water from our water service..not tap water. You probably need to get a poryphin test to find out what metals are actually trapped in his organs. A DAN dr. can order one for you. Hope this helps!! Ya, uranium 238 is almost everywhere in small concentrations. We all have a tiny bit inside of us no doubt. We can thank Uranium and other radioactive elements for keeping the center of a planet hot, for our electromagnetic feild that sheilds us. I live on the west coast and we have been on chelation and supplements for a few months and he is definitely doing better. He has a lot more language but it's not quite functional. I just have a hard time not knowing how the uranium got there in the first place, how I could have prevented it and how to protect my other 2 children(12 yr. boy and 1 yr girl). One theory is that a lot of new homes are being built on landfills but I live in an older house. That is very strange to me. Did you ask the doctors how or where the uranium could have come from???? Did they suggest you have your other children tested?? Is this common?? I would concentrate most of my efforts on finding out where it came from and getting rid of it (environmental source).

Get the water and soil tested. I would also consult another doctor, I would think this could be dangerous.
