My in-home ABA team is by a company run by parents of children on the spectrum. They do the admin. stuff at nights and on weekends because they have other full-time jobs. My invoice for the ABA is monthly and just lists the total hours, the hourly rate and a total. I filed my first claim with CIGNA using an invoice for one week only. I had requested a special invoice that started on the day my coverage with CIGNA started and covered only one week. We received a check that covered 60% of the total after my deductible. I was of-course ecstatic! I immediately sent in another claim which covered 2 months of services. I figured since they had paid one claim, I was in the clear... Well, we just received a letter from CIGNA denying the claim. They say they need an invoice with more detail before they can approve any more claims. Here is where I need help: Could anyone out there that receives in-home ABA send me a sample copy of their invoice?? I want to create an invoice with more detail in it and then forward it to my provider so that it will be easier on them. I just need a starting point so PLEASE PM me if you have a sample invoice with ANY level of detail on it. THANKS A BUNCH...as you can imagine this is VERY important to us. |
