I serve as the clinical director for the Pocono Equestrian Center which is a therapeutic equine program for children with autism/developmental challenges. This program may be a positive way for you to connect with other parents as well as being a positive experience for your child. The program currently utilizes a farm in Factoryville but is hoping to soon expand to having its own facility.
