The Galileo School for Children on the Autism Specturm would like to
announce that we will be conducting auditions and an informational
session for our Christmas time musical "T'was the Night Before
Christmas" at 10:00 am Saturday September 27th at Northwest Bible
Church. Northwest Bible Church is located at 8505 Douglas Ave.
Dallas, Texas 75225. Our school is a premier private school
specializing in Autism in Dallas, TX. Our musical is designed to
have children and adults alike who have one of the autism spectrum
disorders or other developmental delays star in our show. If the
individual who wishes to participates in the production has a
specific talent such as acting, singing, dancing, martial arts, or
any other talent please come to the informational session with a
short 1 to 2 minute audition prepared. Auditions are not required
but will be used to cast some of the lead roles.
Rehearsals for the show will officially start on Tuesday September
30th and will continue every week on Tuesday and Thursday from 5:00
to 7:00 pm until the performance on the evening of Saturday December
13th. At the informational session the Galileo School will have our
faculty and staff members on hand for parents who wish to get to
know the Galileo School more directly. For instance our fine arts
director Georgianna who will be directing the musical has been
directing musical theater for children in a professional setting for
many years and helped produce a play for MHMR of Tarrant county
which has been performed in multiple locations.

Nicole positiveautism39708.7833449074Sarah would love to perform..she had gymnastics every tuesday and thursday from 5-6 and getting to that part of Dallas would be impossible. If they are willing to see her tapes without having to audition in person I have some tapes of her singing~We wouldnt be able to do the rehearsals unfortunately....she loves to sing..play piano and perform. I wish it was closer to where we live..we are at least 40 minutes away from this school (I had no idea this school even existed?) Let me know if they are interested and I can send them her vids:) Sounds really cool! ShelleySounds like a great opportunity for kids in that area! |
