Hello, My son does not have an official diagnosis yet and we are going to the dev pediatrician next week. Any upstate newyorkers here with experience with ABA/DIR in Monroe county and I would appreciate any ideas regarding different agencies.How is NY in terms of resources. Thanks We live in Clinton County NY, but the state services should be similar. We have a caseworker through Sunmount DDSO. They are part of the Office of Mental Retardation and Developmental Disabilities. Our caseworker is awesome!She can get us equipment, @ home services, a fence so ds could play outside. They have Respite Houses and a Crisis Intervention Team that came out to show us holds that are more effective than the ones we were using.
