Does it get worse before better?

	We have been working with a DAN Dr. and using homeopathic chelating agents for 2 months.  It is a 4 month protocol.  Within the last 2 weeks, her aggression and frustration have been extemely higher than normal.  She seems more apt to bang her head, etc.  In general she is pleasant, but her fuse has really shortned.  Has anyone who has tried chelation experienced this?  Are the metals being removed effecting her?  If this is the case, how long until we start seeing the positive results? What method of chelation is it? We have tried to chelate 4 or 5 times and this happens every time. It is a result (in our case) of bacteria and yeast overgrowth (one of the side effects of the things we have tried for chelation--DMSA and EDTA) So we stop chelation, get some meds for bacteria and yeast, get better and try again. It's a vicious cycle and it's getting old. BonBon39650.7211921296Julie,  I'm not really sure exactly what the ingredients all are.  I know it is homeopathic, natural ingredients.  They actually mix it all together in the office and send it out to me each month.  BonBon,  I was wondering if yeast could now be a factor.  I don't know if natural ingredients can cause this as well.  I guess I will call the office to find out.  My only problem is that the Dr. is out of state, and if I have a phone consult, it will cost me $$...perhaps one of the receptionists will be knowledgeable enough to help me!! Thanks! We don't do natural, over the counter stuff for yeast and bacteria anymore because they seem to not work well enough for my girl. But I have at times just emailed my request to the Doc, stating that she is showing signs of yeast overgrowth and could he please call in a scrip for Diflucan or Ketaconazole? He usually does it based on her behaviors, unless it had been a while since we have seen or spoke. Hope you can do that!
